UCP accelerates funding for 11 new schools

Our UCP government is fast-tracking $8.6 billion in funding for 11 new schools across high-growth communities in Edmonton, Calgary, Airdrie, Chestermere, and Okotoks, addressing booming student populations. Announced by Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides, the projects will create over 12,000 new student spaces in these areas. This generational investment aims to build 200,000 spaces over seven years, easing enrollment pressures and shortening commutes for families.
